I have a 60' primary vine which is wrapped around our whole patch. There is a basketball sized pumpkin in the end. My problem is I have run out of room for future growth of the vine. Would there be any detrimental effects in cutting the vine 2' or so past the pumpkin. Will the nutrients still get to the pumpkin, and will there be any undo stress placed on the pumpkin?
Thanks in advance for any help...
