What should be wrong with cow manure??
Other things good for compost - your wife, your ex-girlfriend, your boss, your mother-in-law, the guy at your local tax authority. The only problem - all carnivore. Might be worth a try though.

Dead animals will juice your compost like you wouldn't believe! Want proof? E-mail me and I'll show you waste analysis and soil test results of the stuff I use.

Cow manure smells bad maybe,I think thats what hes talking about, but chicken manure in the hot summer has got to be one of the worst smells ever. I get one wiff and my eyes start to water then automaticly start gaging.Just sitting here typing this message about the smell makes me gag.

Road kill, beached Bunker, pellet gunned squirrels, wilted salad (no dressing), coffee grounds, lawn clippings, leaves, all manures except chicken unless it's been mixed with sawdust, frost killed annuals & vegetables, tendils, vines, etc....anything that was once alive will help. Worms & bacteria convert it into what we're after. It's all good.
