ouch.... that is a lot of $$$$$..... they r goin to be p*ssed when the radiation at the post office fries the seeds......lol.....all i can say is WOW... i would have gotten a few free seeds and spent that $ in the patch... prolly had better luck:)

Who in there right mind would pay that kinduh money for a few pumpkin seeds.
I spend 20 bucks on my patch and the wife gives me that ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR FLIPPIN MIND!! Look, we've all seen it one time or another go buy a large size fish emultion or a troybuilt tiller and just you wait you'll see that look.

Way to much money for those seeds he might have had 5-6 proven seeds . This year proved there is alot of seeds that have produced 1000 pluss pumpkins. One muust realize why pumpkins get big. 25% seed, 25% soil, 25% weather, 20% hard work in the patch 5%luck. If one only thinks it is in the seed they are sadly mistaken. There are alot of growers here at big pumpkins that would beable to give growers a seed that cuold produce the next world record,Len,Joe p. ,Joe A. kilr case glenn myself matt amy d. but if you have money to blow mabye it isn't that bad of a thing to waste your money on . mark

Perhaps the buyer felt that he was doing the pumpkin fraternity a favor by keeping the seed in knowledgable hands
and donating some of it to a regional organization and using some for trade. Finally, he may even offer "Free Seed" on this site!!
