Has anyone got instructions and or a pattern for sculpting with a cheese slicer?? I haven't the foggiest idea of how to go about this. There are pics in my pun'kin book but they look a bit too difficult for this inept sculptor.

What they are using looks like old fashioned bottle opener with the inside flat and sharpened. I have not seen any thing like this available in the stores. A couple pieces of 3/4, 1, 1 1/2 conduit cut at an angle does wonders. Along with an old fasioned sturdy carrot peeler that swivels. Then if you want to get more detail go to you local craft store that has Clay working tools like they use on a wheel. You will be amazed it how well these work.

What is a conduit?? I do have the carrot peeler....but have no idea whatsoever how to use it on a pumpkin. I am going to check out the cheese slices available and see what I can come up with....probably end up slicing my fingers! Oh well...I can always carve one the usual way. What are you other carvers doing?
