that's the guy that carves my pumpkins. he did a display at the Cooperstown weighoff this year. quite the talent. he will be carving my 704.5 in Hong Kong this year. yep, my 704.5 is somewhere between NYC and Hong Kong right now. it's been quite the ordeal to get this put together, but i'm hoping he can smuggle my seeds back into the US successfully, LOL. i carve them in the same style as he does, but i'm just not as fine-tuned yet. Tim Bailey does some great sculptures on them too.

Cool site Erin. Parker was excited to see his name on this site. It was a cool time at the weigh off. We need to get a vermont carver interested in trying pumpkins. It seems there must be some granite carver that would like to try a new medium. John

Kerry, I think I should do well, I have always been talented in the arts. Just about everything but watercolor painting, that is a pain! Anyway I will make sure to post my carvings on the diary so everyone can enjoy! Yes we do need to get more going on in VT!!!! Wish me luck! If we do get a VT Giant Vegetable Growers Web site I am sure Parker would like to be on that too! I e-mailed you back today. Doeski
