Al, I thought I would take a minute and thank you for talking with me the week before Topsfield. In spite of several emails sent to other growers in the state over the past 2 years to possibly view their gardens or have them stop by here, I have until speaking to you, met up with what I felt was an unfriendly lot of people. I am not sure, perhaps just all too busy to respond??? I have on the other hand found several growers in NH to be very friendly and accomadating and I especially want to thank you for your friendly manner and your time! I was hoping Maine growers might arrange to meet some time this year. I am so sorry now for not coming to Topsfield to meet some of you firsthand. I had no idea I had done so well and felt this was one of the more miserable growing years I had faced. Perhaps next year. I thought you might like the pics of my best to date 886# (maine cert scale) 355" and a 470# (on the tailgate) I had painted and donated to the local grammer school. I do have my own party here that usually brings in 75-100 locals (yes we bet)(dogs and burgers free) which is always the last Sat of Sept. with a Sunday rain date. You and anyone else interested is invited for this coming year. I am only 15 minutes from the Windsor fairgrounds. I will see to it you get a reminder. Thank you again! Pics will be posted on the board.

This is the first time I seen you. Most of the GP growers I know are a great lot of people. Get a line on the NHGPG, we do a lot of things, great summer outting,[growers from across the country], ask Al Berard about us. Bill Rodonis
