Hey Dick,
You RI growers had a fine year. I wish we could have been there today but the tree man was still hauling lumber out this morning plus we had some non-pumpkin stuff to do.
Alan came very close to his PB & state record 851 there didn't he? Is that the one he had on the 810 Dill? If so, I think it went heavy. As I recall it was 146C the other day.

Hi Steve, It was off the 1385 Daletas. Weight was 849 not 845. Was 106lb over tape. Was reweighed to make sure it was not heavier than the current 851.8 CT record. The 810 Dill was 752LB.Taped 718.5, 33.5LB over tape. Alan

Color was dull "flat" Orange. No gray/Green at all.

In our line of "work" perhaps that should have been the "GOLDEN HORSE SHI@" AWARD. Since he's always stepping in it anyway. Then bestow the winner with some of the finest soil amendment there is!
