I bought a few seeds from Mr.Dill a couple years back and all it says on the package is: Dill 14-1061.5x846. It didn't mean a thing to me back then, I thought to myself 1061, cool ,that's the one for me. Now, a couple years later I would like to know what I actually bought. I've looked on howarddill.com but no luck, so if anyone has any info or ideas please let me know. Thanks Chad

The Dills did a bunch of Genetic crosses and the Pumpkins were in the 500-700 pound range. The cross you have is the 1061.5 Ciliberto(female) X 846 Calai(male) Eddy

Eddy thanks for the info! I used two seeds this year and still have two left. Nothing significant to report. One 300 pounder and thats about it. Was there anything grown off these seeds that may get someone excited? Thanks again Chad.

I Don't know of anything specific grown on the seed you have but the 1061.5 has at least 1 1200 pounder to it's credit and the 846 speaks for it self. the 1061.5 is a 723 bobier crosses back with a 935 Lloyd The seed has good linage. The seed probably hasn't been planted much.

Well no complaints from here then. As you say the 846 stands alone and the 1213 Peirce is nothing to snezze at either. Sh**house luck on my part I suppose! I'll have to give it another try. Chad

Soil and experience are the main keys to success, seed comes 3rd in my opinion.
