Well I made it home this morning. I will sort out an update of the tour and post it here...just need a few days to put it together.Thank you to all that I managed to meet and to all that shown their hospitality to myself and Gareth. Also the oddball things that happened, like the Racoon who threw himself under the wheels of the car..wrecking it in the process.... leaving me on an Interstae road at 10.30pm...pitch black...no phone...no police...nobody passed for ages...the guy in Elmira who was having an epeleptic fit who I stopped and gave aid to. .....the nice policeman who stopped me for speeding ... and the one who stopped me cos he thought i was running drugs from Florida.

you know i was talking to nick about your accomplishment yesterday, and i realized this: we live in the U.S. and will most likely never be able to do what you did (drive from one coast to the other). you had the opportunity of a lifetime - congrats - that is WAY COOL !!!!
