new hamshire , the berkshires, and several other groups have always been in the forefront of giant pumpkin growing in new england, and they still are
it was just our time this year, next year could be an all together different story
i will say though that steve, freddie, joe, ron, pete,dave,steve d,jeff,scott,john ,myself and several other growers have pooled our efforts to become a better club
all for one and one for all does work, even if for no other reason than friendships and food
