So far, you'd have need to grow a 1045lb pumpkin to crack the top 25 pumpkins of 2004!! Insane. So far I've counted over 40 1000lb'rs just from the posts on this website. For all the splits and bad weather, etc, what a year! Sandbagging lives in the AG community, no doubt.

Congrats to all, by the way, 1000lbs, PB's, and first year growers with a fruit at the end of the season.

Lots of time, paitience, and hard work, and of course a little luck of mother nature sure does pan out well when they fall on the scale, or when they give way on the vine, as no matter what, hopefully the devoted grower will be back for more pumpkin torture on his eyes, back, bills, and his everything else for 2005 that makes this hobby soooo...muchhhhhhh...funnnnnnn,,,An almost end to this season but many looking toward the next....tis the season to be pumpkin happy ..As planting time is not so far away...Time to prep the dirt and dream.....

After the canby results, now you'd need to grow 1060 to crack the top 25. Wow.
