Well, that´s the result for my 2 pumpkins at home today:-) Weighed on 4 bathroom scales several times with the same results so it should be pretty close to official weights on sunday.
1260 Weir x 1236 Eaton: 624 lbs and 25% over the 2003 OTT chart. I hope it´s true.
1236 Eaton x 1260 Weir: 722 lbs and 15% over the 2003 OTC chart. Just amazing.

Great job, Ingo! Not too far off the German record...

Michel, Peter, Rainer, etc... maybe we should consider moving to the "Rheinland"! lol Those warmer nights there sure help a lot!!!

At least I should beat you on the total weight - however with 5 pumpkins - and if that is still not enough I can add the two I already harvested two weeks ago.....lol

Those are some nice looking pumpkins. Way to go! I'd be proud of them. It will be interesting to see how accurate your scales are.
Can you tell me what the parents of the 1236 Eaton are?

Hi Doug,
the 1236 Eaton is the 723 Bobier X 846 Calais. 1260 Weir is the 845 Bobier x 846 Calais.
Many of you fellow growers suggested to do these crosses and it worked, even with these 55 F nights during a long time in "summer" over here.
One of the bathroom scales tilt with the 1236 but after checking 3 times it tilt the same way so it should be okay:-)
