Till we head out to the weigh-offs and I'm getting pretty excited about the day. My wife and I will be weighing in two pumpkins that will be new PBs for us, along with a watermelon that will also give us a new PB. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone the best of luck at their weigh-offs and to thank the people on BP for all their help over the course of the season. I hope everyone has a great day.

Phil, great work! Three PB's is fantastic for this cold summer. Our party starts at 12pm for the load in at Cornerstone and then shifts to my place. I am expecting 50+ to attend. It really caps off the season. I will be a bit under the competitive bar this year but it was fun trying. I Can't wait for next year....Good Luck to you as well. Off to Port Elgin.

For me it´s exactly 15 hours from now because I have to arrange it all with a borrowed trailer. I hope I can weigh the pumpkins on my own scales before. Yep, some sort of the most exciting date of the year:-)

Russ, Kyle, Thanks. It's going to be close. Phil seems to think that it will be over, but who knows. The suspense is killing me though. I hope everyone is excited about the weigh-offs as my wife and I are. Pizza and beer for all the lifters and their families, but not until the pumpkins are loaded. Russ, I hope to finally meet you in Port Elgin. Take care and good luck to all......Phil

Phil, this hobby keeps on getting better and better. Sounds to me as if Port Elgin will go LARGE ORANGE and GREEN on Saturday. It has been a tough season for the local farmers around here. AGP's have also been difficult to keep growing with the cool August nights. It will be nice to see all.
