I always thought this was pepo, but I saw a site recently that listed it as maxima. Googling it, I seemed to come across a fairly equal number of sites purporting each. Can some one give me the definitive answer on this?
Thanks!
Matt

Until yesterday, I thought there were only 4 different maxima varieties. I followed a link (can't remember if it was from here or a different site) and found a list of over 30 varieties of maxima squash.

That's more motivation to cover my male AND female blossoms in June. Who know how many of these "unnoticeable" squash are being growm in the neighborhood. You have to look to know what I am talking about.

ya know, I always check for spelling errors before I post, but I never find them until after I post.
