Alun suprised us at the Elmira weigh off with his son, touring around the country on thier way through to Washington DC where they will stay tonite, visit tomorrow, and head to G's inLong Island a day or so later, then up to the NewEngland States for thier GPC events.

He was a hoot, throughly enjoyable fella, and as he drove off naked into the sunset, It just makes you smile thinking of how he has just done something most of us would kill to do.. Tour across country with no attachments, just popping in to where ever he so pleases, going coast to coast.

I got another 2 postcards from Alun this morning, i just wish that i had been in a position to have joined Alun and Gareth on their American/Canadian version of the magical Mystery Tour. I think that Alun and i will be spending many hours chatting about his trip.

If you had the chance to meet Aloon and "Gaughth", consider yourselves lucky! For one, consider how many people they could have visited, and two, consider the driving burn out they must have to deal with to accomplish what they are doing!

Hope all the visits made all the driving worth it guys! Just think of how much ground you've covered! Think back on how the view was up on Pikes Peak looking eastward, and how endless the land looked from up there. Then imagine how much real estate you've actually covered... you both are very lucky individuals!!!!
