I may join here too if I have any sound pumpkins this year!
Do you folks allow membership for stem rotted and split pumpkins or do they have to be completely sound. Please have a heart!LOL!

That's pretty sad, I spent the entire year tending to my pumpkins...only to fall short to a guy that probably only shelled out $5 for his Wal-mart 57 pounder. But I'm not bitter...just more determined for next year. 50 pound club will be mine!

This post has made me feel better. I have two plants grown from seeds out of a regular pack of Atlantic Giants. On one plant I have one at about 120 lbs., one at about 70 to 80 and one at about 60. The other plant has 3 between 80 and 90 lbs. I was shooting for 500. This is my second year trying to grow a BIG one. I learned a lot this year and last. I'm already planning for next year!
