Next year perhaps consider coming to our Colorado weigh off... I'm sure 673 would still beat anything grown here in this state from any of our growers! What a sad season!

OH MY GOD!! WOO HOO!!! RONNIE!! and to think I saw it when it was just a baby!!! WOO HOO!! I must say again..Let me tell you...anyone who has never been to Wyoming to see just what the conditions are like that Ron Deals with has no clue to what he is up against..this is the equivalant to a 4 digit fruit in normal conditions...The effort he puts out is truely second to none...and it shows as he has topped his own state record yet again!!! AWESOME!!! I am sure little Ricky had a hand in all this also!! LOL!!

Like I've said before - you're always invited to Big Sky Country!
Then again, you'd blow us all outta the water!
Congrats to all!

Thanks everyone!! With the fluctuating weather we had this year, I really didn't expect a new state record. I attribute most of my success this year to a shampoo bottle Dan accidentally left here in early August. The good luck that escaped from that "shampoo bottle of the grower of the second largest pumpkin ever grown" was amazing! The longer we hung onto it, the better things looked! LOL!!! Sure am glad I didn't try to turn a buck on it & auction it off on Ebay! :)

Way to go Ron. I always like to see you do well, and I know you're a better grower than the numbers have indicated. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm glad I don't have to grow them in the climate you have to contend with.
