While I was looking for WWI info on the HistoryChannel.com web site, I happened to stumble onto their "History of Hallowe'en" page.

I noticed they had the giant pumpkin record from 2000 and sent them an update, along with the link to BigPumpkins. I also told them that it's possible a new record could be set this year.

Ken has indicated that the server here can handle a large influx of new hits, so, how's about everyone sending an email request to the History Channel asking for a link to here from their Hallowe'en page?

Also, I think their stated world record for the largest pumpkin pie may be old. Can someone find out and confirm/correct it?
