I'm planning on planting a few seeds from my 178 lb AG. The problem is some of the seeds on the end opposite of the attached end to the plant were not fully developed. To me it looks like someone (I need to blame somebody) scraped the outer 1/4 end of the darker seed coat. Inside they look fine just the outside looks bad. The color and shape is what I am looking for, size is a little on down side. Has anyone planted seeds with appearance defects and had large AG develope from them. Tom

When I find seeds like that they are usually under developed inside or have started to sprout. Throw them away and only plant the very best looking seeds.

Tom: The 723 bobiar look the same as you are describing,The opposite end or the other end then the root end!!!! look a tad under developed,But i havent heard of anyone having trouble germinating them and they do produce. My 1107.8 seed looks the same also(723xself)and i did a germination test and they seem to be fine.you might want to do a germination test.I took 6 of the worst ones and had good results.Hope this helped.John
