Hi Guys
Mike Turner in the UK here. I am urgently looking for Giant Watermellon Seeds from the best/heaviest Watermellons that have been grown. I am looking for a strain of seed that grows the long type of Watermellon but i guess that you guys will put me in the right direction. Contact information on who the TOP Giant Watermellon Growers are would be GREATLY appreciated indeed.Please email me privately if you can help out with my request.

one you are bit premature most of the weaghoffs are several weeks away. Also some of really giant watermelon growers do not give away or trade seeds period.
those that do i am not allowed to reveal there names or address do to there request.
Also you might need to have something in way trade of other giant vegetable seeds for some growers to be willing
trade there best seeds. Also how many seeds are you in need of.

Hows the trip going buddy? I am thinking of having a go at Giant Watermellons and the Long Gourds next year. I had a call from a certain person on sunday who is looking for long strains of Watermellon seeds and that has spurred me on to have a go. I am going to clear out and prep the Tunell over Autumn/Winter for Watermellons and prep sites and trellis' for Long Gourds. I used to have all the details of the Top Watermellon Growers but i have forgotten who they are and no longer have their contact details (you know how bad my memory is !) I am looking forward to seeking people out and doing some Seed bartering like the old days. I will tell you more on the above when you get back to the UK.

Thankyou for the Website address for Giant Watermellon Growers. I used to be in touch with some of the Worlds Top Watermellon Growers but that was quite a long time ago and i can no longer remember who they are or have their contact details. I think the timing of my posting is about right, as it gives any growers,who may be willing to contact me, the time to do so before the busy Weigh-Off times. I used to Trade/Barter for Giant Pumpkin Seeds from the Worlds top Growers several years ago therefor i am no stranger to the etiqete of the way to obtain seeds.

pumpkin mike i was not assuming you did not know seed trading etiquette. I am serious on the seed trading of really big watermelon several of best do not trade period
except with themselves. I have try many times to trade with about 5 of biggest growers and they don't trade.
Pumpkins and giant watermelons the equivilent would uk giant leek and giant onion those don't trade at all as well.

the 5 biggest grows altime do not trade seeds the only expection is Brights from AR whose website i posted above.

I have been reminded of the people who i used to be in touch with for Giant Watermellon Seeds. I have found out that these people are still contactable and i hope to rekindle my old contact and friendship with these people. They were such great and helpfull Guys back when i first contacted them so i do'nt envisage any problems. I guess that it is just the manner with which one approaches people. I will let you know how i progress by emailing you privately.
