What's the current "rumblings" on last years seed stock? I know the 1301 Eaton and 977 Hester are getting talk, any others?
(I grew the 977 Hester this year..get a couple if you can!)

I also grew the 977 Hester this year. A strong growing plant but no fruitset. The first fruitset i´ve got on this plant at the 26 of august. And what should i say, a bad stem split. The same procedure with the late fruitset at the 481 Hester. I think i should better plant Hesters plant in March and not in May. Ok, was a joke, we´ve had awesome weather here this summer.

root/stump so early in the season. Taping around 650 ish.

I hear that this 307 seed developed by some crazy "Hillbilly" from some mountain top in Dixie was supposed to be killer. Seems it kicks out pumpkins that are 20% heavy to the chart. I'll believe it when I see it. ;0)

Brett Hester always grows good seed and has some killer crosses, I know im gonna try to grow one, or two or three or maybe four next year.LOL

What about the 976 Daletas? It's the same cross as the 977 Hester (846 x 898). Any buzz about that seed?
