It looks as if Atlanta is taking a beating from Ivan. Are all y'all southern brothers O.K.? Hope everything is all right!

Jim... We're expected to get up to 15" of rain in my small corner of the Southern Appalchians this weekend. Local authorities are calling for evacuations in low-lying areas and for folks to stock up on water, meds, etc. as major road washouts are expected. Tornado warnings as well...in the mountains? Been here 21 years and never heard of such expected weather. Hugo was mild compared to this, and it did damage up here pretty good.

we are getting rain now from Ivan and are expecting 8 - 10 inches. We got 12" last week so who knows what to expect.

hey southern catch me in my canoe im coming that way its poring here has been for several hours and were expecting up to 9 inches of rain tommorow and more saturday so to all out there in harmsway i say good luck and be careful god bless ya burrhead

I hope everybody is o k and fared well during the storm. We had 60 mph winds last night and just over 7" of rain in the past 24 hrs. We had some downed trees and flooding but nothing major.

Just got back online.....9" rain, roads washed out, my driveway ruined, my roof damaged, pumpkin plants finished, BUT...everybody OK

I knew we took a beatin here in Noble County Ohio. I am going to have to detour to get my pumpkin to the fest this week. The water is over the lake bridge here at the end of my road on Seneca Lake. Hold on punkie! it is going to be a bumpy ride!!
