I have grown a pumpkin (bobier 996) which now measures 331 ott planning to bring to Topsfield and looking for advice from experienced growers. I have the entry form (in mail tomorrow), tarp, pallete, truck and lifting means. Any good advice is welcome.

Sounds like a great pumpkin Wilbur. i am also from vermont in the jericho area and unfortunately did not have a good growing summer. There are other vermonters going to Topsfield though. Are you a member of the VGVGA. If not it is only 5 dollars to join and there are a couple of big growers on it. Good luck. john
