Moro, Sono Italiano pure io, ora vivo a New York. Ho vissuto in Livorno per 6 anni da 1980 -1986. Congratulazioni sulla zucca, spero di fare una gigante la prossima stagione! Tom

Sergio,
I see your 1370 Rose went light. What were the last OTT measurements? I guess it must have went at least 8 if not 10% light.... Just wondering...

Sergio, congratulations for your job and to all the organizing committe of Sale Marasino, very nice people. The plant that growth the 828 of the experimental University farm is the 932 Steeves 2003. The interesting point is that the guys plant this year 9 plants in a very poor soil (30% of gravel, fine soil composition is about 75% of sand, 15% silt and 10% clay, organic matter 2%, pH 8,0, calcareous soil). They have 3 pumpkins over 300 kgs, and 5 over 240 kgs, a very interesting result. Anyway the Italian record holder remain Sergio Moretti with your 383kg 2003. Paolo Ermacora

Congratulations to the Italian growers. I consider myself somewhat part of the family since I grow the “should-be” Slovenian record from Paolo’s cross. Jernej

Congrats to you all! First I read your location is Cologne (like me) when I saw it´s Cologne in Italy - being on the mediterranean side of the Alps that makes for sure a few hundred lbs difference:-)
