How are those of you who are growing clones doing with them? Any big ones? In general, how successful are cloned plants in producing big ones?

That was going to be my next question to post on, and low and behold, here it is! I have questions to add to the initial question "how big did they get?"...
1} How many square feet did the plant cover, and where did the "stump" form in relation to where the potted plant started out from?
2}Where or did you dead head the sides at {how many feet from the initial vine}, as well as the main?
3}How many fruits were kept, how many were set? Also how many feet out from the "stump" was the fruit set on ?
These questions will help to add to my personal data I've been adding to over the years. I have been considering actually making my own web page over the winter with tons of info on cloning, as well as on genetics. I've been encouraged to think about doing some type of book as well, but think I need a couple more seasons before having enough info to put together something worth reading. Anyone considering keeping a clone this winter should give me a call.... Its hard to keep up on the emails... 1-719-232-7690 my cell, best # to try me at!

845 Bobier cutting. Originally just for pollen. But the loss of a critical plant changed my mind.
1.) No "stump" at all. The vine got thick at about 6-8' out from the original planting site.
2.) Due to odd location, this plant was a flag for the first 20' then curved away from the edge of the patch & eventually established weak, split prone secondaries on both sides for the last 12 feet. The main was eventually terminated around 32' when it ran out of room.
3.) For a while, 2 fruit were kept. The main vine fruit (Bone) was pollinated 7-24 & has reached about 320 lbs. The secondary vine that has a fruit was cut off about 30 days ago n& might weight 60-80 lbs. I've never taped it & probably won't.
Since I'm so happy with the way this plant worked out, I now have 3 cuttings started for next year. 705 Stelts, 801 Stelts, & a few 846 Calai.
I hope to avoid my freeze damage issues of last winter so we have several choices of each genetic set come spring next spring. My goal is to establish a real basal crown & taproot area earlier in the season. Maybe some rooting hormones will impact this if used properly. We'll see.
