Jake Van Kooten drove 12 hours from the middle of Vancouver Island, BC to attend our weigh-off. He took home the First Prize of $1.00 a pound making the trip very worthwhile. He also set a new Fair record of 958 lbs besting Geneva Emmons old record set in 2001 of 922.5 lbs. The major disappointment had to be Joel Holland whose Beachy 1097 developed a tiny pin hole along a Dill Ring the morning of the weigh-off.

In spite of the fact that we were in a new larger arena, we had a record number of entries and the stands were full to overflowing. We will do our utmost to improve the accomodations for everyone next year!

The registrar, Mari Lou Holland, has the genetic information for each entry. I will try to have that printed in the next issue of The Main Vine, the PNWGPG newsletter.
