actually, looks just like her first monster, 2 weels later. I understand bringing a pumpkin to multiple weigh-offs, but why taint a world record by bringing it back weighing so much less. Purist at heart I guess.

geneva had a STELLAR year, i think a 922 in early september, then the 1262, then an 1111, then an 1144. three pumpkins over 1100 pounds, the world record, and a measly 922 pounder LOL :) what's her secret???

she did have a 922, it was off of the 705. I can't beleive she had 2 that broke last year's 1140 mark, and an 1111. That's amazing, our hat's off to Geneva.

Hi fellow Big Pumpkineers,
I'll post the pictures of the other 9 pumpkins from the IPA sanctioned, Des Moines, Wa weigh off on Oct 20th late this evening.
Pumpkin Sculpting/Carving contest is being held today in Des Moines, WA on the pumpkins that were weighed last night. Time to go extract the seeds!
2001 pumpkin season isn't over yet. Halloween, Seed drying , patch clean up and cover crops, seed trading.. does it ever end? NOPE!

Earlier on, I was quick to judge, and assumed that the 1262 was re-entered at a smaller weight. Upon closer examination, I realized just how wrong I was. Just thought I'd apologize to the group for being so snitty. Somebody congratulate Geneva for me.
