ive had a number of females appear to be ready to open the next day only to turn yellow and shrivel up .I havent used nitrogen since june 20.I had aproblem with copper colored leaves last month but all the new growth looks very healthy. anybody recognize this? tfinng

Hi, They are several different reasons that you buds are falling off. Make sure that you clear out any weeds or grass around the pumpkin buds.I've notice that vines dont like to lay a pumpkin down on the grass or in weeds for some reason. Also if the vine has alot of buds on them you may want to pluck a few of them off so it can put the growing strength only to a few of them.
