Well, from what I'm experiencing, it attacks the leaves and stems, and actually halts photosynthesis (as tremor explained), my fruit on one plant has all but stopped growing the past 4 days.... I have been spraying with immunox weekly, and a mix of molasses and baking soda every week, but this monster is still spreading......
Good luck.. Tom

If you can find, and are willing to pay for, Ridomil..it'll stop it dead in it's tracks. Won't cure it, but it'll stop it to a very slow crawl. Expensive though, I think I paid $75 a pint.

PS...but that pint has lasted 2 years and I'll easily get another 3-4 years out of it.

Kyle,
What is the active ingredient of your "Ridomil"? We have available a product called Ridomil from Syngenta that is mainly used for potatoes... Just wondering...

Kyle,
Great tip and thanks for the lead on that product. If you visit the following link at http://www.syngentacropprotection-us.com/prod/fungicide/ridomil/ you can read up on the product and then go to the drop-down box to search for a distributor in your country.
Thanks again Kyle.

banner maxx system took my friends pathetic looking pm plant and straightened it up pretty fast. even though its a system, it seemed to start working in 3 days. my plants have been sprayed since after 2 weeks from setting fruits until now and very few signs of it for me. mostly exterior stuff on some new pop up leaves. good stuff in my opinion.

Hey Kyle,
There are 16 different Ridomil branded funigicides from Syngenta. Which one did you mean?

I had success with potassium silicate to keep PM from spreading. Won't help out already infected leaves however.
