Have a look at the picture in my diary at http://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=26596 and tell me what the heck is going on with this fruit. It has developed this white patch near the blossom end and I am afraid that it might be the start of blossom end rot. Any advice or info would be appreciated.

Glenn, two of my small pkn's had the same white blotches and ended up being dead and rotting... Hope it isn't the same for you. Tom

Looks like it´s over for the pumpkin. Had these spots appearing on a culled fruit and it went down after 3 days.

I have the same thing happening to my pumpkin on the 1385 Daletas. I think it's not going to make it.

Holy smokes... first killer squirrels, now this? It's been wet the last few days but that plant you have there must have a score to settle. What did you do to it?

My idiot pumpkin also has some "discolouration." See the most recent post in my diary (as soon as it's up). Ugly.
