Great job everyone... quite impressive! A 1,000 pounder already! Was it not going to make it another month plus or what? I just couldn't see myself cutting that off so early no matter what the hell was the deal!
OK... now what are the genetics on the others besides yours? You just had to know someone would ask! (LOL)

Congrats to everyone!!!
And yes, a 1100 pounder in mid August is IMPRESSIVE!!!
Do you know if the grower feared that it might go down or has it already stopped growing? Just wondering.... I wouldn't cut off such a big pumpkin if it was still gaining some weight and had a chance for the WR come Oct..... But maybe Joe has another one on the way with comparable or even higher weight for the Oct. weighoffs...

I've just seen the pic of the 1139 in Mikkal's diary.... what an ugly colored and wheel shaped fruit! Now I know which seed I will definitely not grow... the 893.5 Pukos...
I like your 163 a lot more, Mikkal! lol
But congrats to Joe anyways!

Mikkal, was that RIchards fruit grown on the stem? It looks like an upside down wheel. I gotta go check and see if I have any of those Pukos seeds.. lol

Links to pictures? I'd like to know the seeds that grew the top five (or ten). That's got to be the most impressive August weighoff ever!
