Thanks for the link but it doesnt have very clear photos. I have a hope that I have bacterial wilt. Does anyone else have any info on bacterial wilt and/or phytophthora? I cut quite a bit of the vines back that had it and made sure that it did not get on anything. I have sterilized all the tools with bleach water and sprayed the whole plant including the stuff I ripped out with a copper spray pretty heavily. I then (quite late last night) started a fire and burned all the infected leaves and vines that I had ripped out. I hope I am doing the right things? Anything would help. Thanks

Thanks everyone for the great websites and help. I have confirmed that I have bacterial wilt. My dad dusts and I spray but the past week of all rain has washed away the pesticides. I hope that this will limit itself to the one plant. we will see. I hope I can keep the pumpkin for the Hillsborough fair. We shall see. Thanks again everyone.
