i was just reading about the freezing of pollen and the general lack of success. perhaps if we could completely dry-out the top two inches of a male flower, or even just the stamen itself, or even just the pollen itself, scraped-off and/or tapped-off into some sort of little teabag flo-thru baggie and dried in a dehydrator......we could then have pollen from an 801.5 Stelts growing in Oregon be used to pollinate my 728.5. Then i'd be happy! any comments, thoughts, etc. just something that came to mind.....eric

I would forget about it. As far as I remember from my biology lessons these are VERY special places where dried pollen was successfully used. You probably have to take it to ancient Egypt -)
