Like every other pumpkin grower, I am looking for the "perfect" seed. I, like most everyone else here, want to grow a pumpkin as big as possible. That is only one of the many things I considered when choosing my dream seed. After having the genetic background presenting the possibility of a large pumpkin,I wanted it to also come from a pumpkin grown in my part of the country. Thirdly, I like my pumpkins ORANGE. Finally, I would prefer to have one that was somewhat symetrical in shape. I want the foundation of my future pumpkins to have as many of these desireable traits as possible. I know this sounds like a dream seed come true, but I believe I have found it. The perfect seed could be found in the #818 pumpkin of Dave Carlson, which took third place at Anamosa Iowa. If anyone has any information on how I could contact Dave, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

Mike (Walcott)

THANK YOU! Im sorry I got his name wrong, how did I do that? Is Dan a member here? Anyhow, thank you very much! Now all I need is to get up the nerve to beg a couple of those magical seeds from him.
