Does anyone have any ideas of what to do to soften up the skin once it has hardened a bit? Would it help prevent splits or tiny cracks or promote growth? Thanks.

I've wondered about putting Vasoline mixed with Captan on them ... but I never have.

Wet towles seem to work well, I take them off at night and put dry ones on.
