Just a brief note to let the pumpkin world know that all went well during the two day event. Ten patches were visited, many pounnds of food and drink were consumed, many "whopper" stories were exchanged and many new friendships were formed! :>)

PS. East coast...be prepared!!

At Popp's place I talked about "Green Jeans", which are gardening chaps with built in knee pads. They are easy to snap on and off, have a couple of pockets to carry stuff and the pads make it easy on old (and young) knees. I was asked their web site, didn't know it, still don't, but their phone number is 800-443-2607 for anyone who is interested.

I just wanted to send a special THANK YOU to the PGVG and all its wonderful members for making this weekend's patch tour an experience to remember. I got to talk with some of the nicest growers out there and see some absolutely beautiful pumpkins. Although I couldn't make the 2nd day, it was definitely worth every bit of the 13 hour drive and I look forward to making the trip again!!

Lots of awesome pumpkins out there. Keep 'em growing everyone!

yes stan six growers from ovgpg ,joe pukos from n.y. , and dave from the cape are decending on us thursday
our club will put on a big feed for them ,a patch tour and trip to n.h. saturday
wish you guys could make it sometime
i heard jack and sherry L are going to n.h. picnic as well

PAP.....The LaRue's and Jim Sherwood are from the PGVG. They flew out yesterday for NS, Canada. They will drive down to your area on Friday. Will the growers be driving their own cars on the Tour or will everyone be riding buses?
