I'm growing the 898 Knauss and it is a slow grower. My main is about 32' long. Should I trim it back to increase growth? or Keep it going. My pumpkin is set at 14' out secondaries 15' and x-mas treed down to 30'it's total about 650-675 sq.ft. Would like to hear from someone familiar with the 898.

My 898 went down today, it grew over and on top of the blossom end and rotted at the bottom.
It was a very slow grower but the plant was huge.

Southern, thats what im worring about on my blossom end, I had to dig a hole in the ground so it wouldnt break it off while it grows.
