It Really does suck. The nicest weather of the year was in March. But we are not alone, sounds like the whole East Coast has had a tough summer Also. I'm still going for a 1000 pounds and I don't care if it Freezes LOL Eddy

I'm new to the whole AG thing, but I was talking to Howard Dill on Sunday, he says Nova Scotia is about 2 weeks behind this year. He's not growing for records anymore, but I think even he was disappointed with his growth so far this year.

well....I just saw on tv that there is a heat wave on Vancouver Island!! Can you believe it? and the rest of Canada, so it seems, is freezing. We have had about three weeks of summer here and now it feels like fall. Saxo how far are you from Vancouver Island?

Again, California comes in backwards from the rest of the continent... tripple digit temps today, and still no rain (in my area) since February. My plants are shrivelling.
Northwest, Tennessee, hmmmmm. pumpkins seem to grow well in New Hampshire. I wonder how expensive it is to live there?

Ya, it was up to 35 today, and again tomorrow... sweet. Supposed to be hot and dry for the next 7 days at least.

Will you knock it off Stan inviting every grower and their cousin to move to the Pacific Nortwest! I have enough competition at the weighoffs as it is, with you and Joel and Geneva and Kirk and the Popp's and all these other up and comers like Shannon and the Bischoff's, criminy I feel like if I don't pull a half ton fruit from my patch I won't even get gas money back after hauling it to the weighoff. And my shot at buying a few acres won't get any better if they all come here and jack the property values up. Don't come her folks, it's hell on earth, rains all the time. Night temps are always in the 50's or 60's here until September when they drop into the 30's and 40's. Kiss those 35 lbs. a day goodbye too, that only happens where the nights are warmer..... naw, nobody should consider a move like that, heck, Ohio is starting to look really good to me again.... Well, OK it always has, but every year you guys raise the bar and I have more headroom when I walk under it.

Chris, I'll move to Washington and that will help lower the bar. ;-)
42 degrees this morning here in Idaho...

I'm with Tiller... Seattle is to wet ! I think it rained every year on the 4th of July and Holloween that I was there. And the Winter blues are real ...I'd get them there. The weather forcasters have a term there that I have only heard there. "Sun Breaks" ... as in... it will be most cloudy all day today but there is a chance of few sun breaks. that's why I moved from there to utopia Utah. lol !

Yeah, Seattle is so bad nobody wants to live there. Look at all the evidence. (LOL!!!) What's that Yogi saying? "It's so crowded, nobody goes there anymore."
Actually I've lived most of my life in Seattle, Utah, and Idaho. So I have license to comment. Idaho is great except for the wind, the terrible soil, and cold nighttime temps. Hmmm.......
