I'm sending a postage to someone who told me would give me free seeds (all i have to do is pay a self addressed post). They're sending the empty box (so the receiver can mail me the seeds) and it costed me US$26.00. I just wonder, am I sending the right one? I'm also sending money, so the person won't need to pay to send me it back, but how much should I send? Sorry for my dumb questions.. =) Thanks fellows.

$26.00???? Waaaayyyy too much. You should be able to send a SASBE with $1-5 to cover return postage (depends on what country, Canada should be $2 or less) and mail it for $1-5. Canada should be $2 to send there and $2 to get back. Are you doing some kind of priority or something? Go cheap, next season is a long way off....

well, since i'm not regularly sending anything to brazil, i'm no expert on this. your post made me curious so i went to this site...http://ircalc.usps.gov/
all it would be is a bubble pack, which is a 'envelope' and it would definitly be way less than a pound. there is no way it would cost us more than 5 bucks (and that is a high estimate) sending it FROM the united states to you.

I sent seeds to Brazil last week. I used the highest priority available & it cost about $6.00. I didn't need to spend this much, but I wanted to be sure the grower got the seeds quickly & safely.

About the bubble pack; we haven't got it here.. instead of it they offer small boxes which ones can be a "little bit" more expensive. I was sure I'd find that pack here. Something like Jiffylite or similar.

If we had the bubble pack here, I think it'd cost me 2 Dollars (at least this is the price of a 7 oz mail from LA).

Tell you what, Punkin4u. Send me a private email with your address, and I will send you a bubble pack with seeds. Don't worry about the postage, don't worry about paying for seeds. Its on me. If you haven't sent your box yet, don't, because that's just too much money to spend on shipping for something so small.
