charts said 132,,,I said 200,,,well it was 143lbs.,,,guess I'm a bad guesser of weight,,maybe next year.........

hey g1t- that makes me feel better LOL. I'm hoping for bigger things next year. I'm not worried, I will have a better year next year.

Hey Carrie, the Books will help for next year; I also bought mine mid-season, but I'll be ready for next year now that I have the books BEFORE the season starts.

Polka Dot, I'm certian that with all the folks you met at Canby, and the info that was passed around, next season you will do much better! I'm the worlds worst estimater I got one of those crazy new Langinvine tapes that give the estimated weights below the inches and I thought I was 900# for a moment or two. I was still really pleased with my best ever (second season)644#........ Hope to see you again next year.

I talked to a watermelon grower at Ohio Valley, and he says that Langevin's tape was also quite accurate on watermelons!
