i cant speak for the west and north west but here in the east and north east, plus what ive seen in penn and ohio it is safe to assume that as long as the plants and fruit hold up the weightoff sights in these areas will be littered with thousand pounders
in fact ill go out on a limb and predict that you will need 1100 lbs just to break into the top ten at topsfield
( nepga ) weighoff this year
where is it all gonna end ?
if this keeps up the weighoffs will need to be a traveling show ( where the scales and growers travel to each others patch )
good luck to all
dick nepga

As Jim Kuhn reportedly once said, "It's one thing to count thousand pounders the first week in August. It's another to count them the first weekend in October." ;>)

How is this for bragging? LOL I have one pumpkin left and it weighs a whopping 21 lbs. Not bad for a rookie huh? LOL not good weather here in NEPA and that doesn't help either.
