i ususally name my squash "silent green", because since they are heavy to the chart, they don't make much noise when you thump them.

How about Gordon? :0)
I choose BIGBUTT DOPPLEBOCK after the leinenkugels beer.
Just a little correction to the cross it is a 552 Sherwood x 834 Gadberry. If I could get pumpkins with stem as large and long as this little cute squash I would be happy.
Just Remember there is no "Great Squash" that comes to the patches of good little girls and boys, bringing gifts to those that are most sincere.

If it looks anything like its mother I would call it el gordo, or mud fence! Should be a heavy bugger anyway. Good luck April, Squash rule.

I would name the fruit "Judas" in honor of the metal band Judas Priest. Remenber the hit song called the "Green Manalishi"?
Very fitting for a giant squash. Plus if your growing it in the wishbone pattern it would then have a two pronged crown(stump).
