Esteemed ladies and gentlemen of the BP.COM message board, i need your professional advice on something.I plan on trying to grow a couple of AG seed next season. I would like seed that produces a pumpkin as large as possible but also i want it to be very orange in color and have a "traditional" halloween pumpkin shape as much as possible. With all of ya'lls experience, what would you recommend? Thank you for any help! Terrified, never! Unified forever!!!!!

Hi Greenhorn, I will hopefully have some seeds from my 644# that was very orange, and semetrical, and loved the heat ready by December. I crossed it with the Holland 1026 (605 est.). If you want a few seeds E-mail me and there yours (none for Farmer Tom). Well, you have to send a SASE bubble pack first. The price of mailing is high, growing a great strain is backbreaking work!!!

If you want traditional halloween pumpkin shape then i don't think you want the Atlantic Giant, AG, variety. Burpee and Prize winner varieties don't get as large but have the shape you want and can still reach 100-200 lbs.
