Should all secondary vines be pruned after they have reached 12-15'? I'm looking for some general guidelines to following when it comes to pruning my pumpkin vines.
Thank you for you help

If you want a big one, all secondaries should be terminated and buried around this time of the season. Continue pruning tertiaries. Growers in the East seem to prefer terminating the main also, 10' or so beyond the pumpkin. Many in the West let the main grow. It's time to arrest plant growth and put it into fruit growth!
