On my A.G. plant I have three secondary vines that have naturally terminated at about 6' in length. Instead of the normal growing tip, there is a cluster of about 4 or 5 male flower buds at the end. I noticed something was different when the younger secondaries were getting longer than these. Has anyone here experienced this?

HA,HA, I was wondering the same darn thing,
My first 2 secondarys off the main vine on my 620 Boyton have done the same thing, first they started to grow really slow then the tips got smaller and now both are just clumps of small flowers.
main vine and other secondarys are growing ok

Ron, We've had plenty of moisture here, and my pumpkin is only 28" in diam. It's only three vines, the others are formed normally.
