my Father is growing 3 pumpking plants in total. one is the 950.4 Boyton which i gave him and the other 2 are big max pumpkings. he has roughly 5 pumpkings growing on each plant a few on each main vine and a few on the secondarys of each plant. dureing this past week hes been no longer pollination any more females just just pulling them off.
all of his pollinations were controlled and all are growing well and fast and all have good shape and size to them
how and when is the best time to start culling so more energy can go to one fruit rather then the other.
how many would you suggest per plant 1-2-3 ?
thanks
Dave

What is the goal? Halloween carvers? Leave them all. Genetics? Leave all good closed crosses.
Ribbon at the local weigh-off? One or two might still be OK.
World record? One fruit per plant.
