One of my pumpkins is partially ripened and the bottom of it is completely white. What should i do (or can i) to trun it orange other than painting it like my dad said. Will the sun help? It seems to just be drying up in the sun and the white part is truning wrinkly.
Thanks

It will probably do like mine,,turn green(squash) on the white part...All four of mine are green on bottom after being off vine a few days,,they were white...

jeff352- wiping it down with vegetable oil makes it turn a dark orange. I tried it, and this is the result I got.
