Ya, some dude in like a 30ft. long delivery truck thought he could beat me or something and pulled out infront of me, I hit his rear tires going about 45 or so, my car must be totaled. I'm pretty sore and a little burned from the airbags, but that's it.

But my poor Subaru!! :(

Hey Ben,

Sorry about the Suby & we're glad you survived. Three Advil every 6 hours will help today with the pain. Of course you won't have a liver to worry about anymore but.....

How's about crunching up all the corners of the Suby & painting it orange? Stick a green coffee can to the windshield & place it on the back of the truck with your real entry. Then show up for the local weigh-off. Park far enough away & you should really start some trouble.

Just be glad It was a suby. Some vehicles may have air bags but wouldn't sacrifice themselves to save your life so easily. Kinda like a volvo they are designed to collapse around the passenger compartment to help prevent injuries. My dodge sure wouldn't do that. You got lucky Ben, congrats on walking away from such a crash.

A stock WRX had nothing on my car in the corners... I think I might get a early Impreza (WRX is just a type of Impreza)and put a JDM STi motor and tranny in it. There were many more Verions of WRX's and STi's in Japan, we just didn't get them until 02 and now we just got the STi's, except that our STi is better. ;)
