I finally HEARD a pumpkin grow tonight when I got home!

We picked up 4.75" in 8 hours. I've heard pumpkins split which is a disgusting sound. But I heard this noise I though was my dog Duke farting. I looked over my shoulder to see him peeing on the wife's flowers some 20 yards away. It was the pumpkin groaning away as the sides expanded.

Wicked cool.

Great news. I´m on the way to produce a time-lapse film about how my "keeper" is growing this week (at night, between 10 and 4, right?).
Now going to place a microphone next to the fruit as well-)

Steve, I heard it tonight also when i was measuing my pumpkin, I thought there was no way it was my pumpkin, It had to be my tarp hitting against the poles or something, I know now that i wasnt hearing things, Mine did it like 5 times, real short baby farts,lol, Thanks for not letting me think im nutz.
