Hi Gang. I just reviewed my tape of Canby. Here's a list of what I got. Please add anybody I may have missed.

Don and Geneva Emmons = 1262# Pumpkin (2001 World record!).
Steve Delitatis = 1230# Pumpkin (estimated off charts).
Bret Hester = 1028# Pumpkin (From Holland 1026)
Paul Handy = 1167# (Huge Pink Pumpkin)
Kirk Mombert = 1097# World Record Squash...Congrats Kirk.
Joel Holland = 855# (From his 1026).
Jake VanKooten =757# (Smashed B.C record with 942# in 2001).
Teel/Parr = 726# (Monster from Moses lake sand dunes!).
Alot of better growers than me........................
Gerry Gadberry = 644# (I learned how to estimate weight).

Do you know what the 1167 Handy was out of?

He grew that on an 846 Calai he got at the PNWGPG seed auction during the growers meeting in March. I think he paid $100 for that seed and he says it was worth it.
